Great food, great service well worth the visit
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Comfortable, if not fancy rooms. Excellent shower. Decent 'pub' grub.
Table booked for 12pm but 3 of our 9 orders were wrong after having to wait for over an hour to get our main course. The group got anxious because we had a tour booked at 2pm elsewhere in Shepton. My food was nice (baked spud with tuna mayo and salad) but others not impressed. No tip left due to one of the servers sniping at our group when comments were made about food taking ages. What should have been a lovely relaxed time meeting up and catching up with each other became stressed and farcical. Don't think the group will be visiting this place again.
Team Romania, supporting an orphanage and old peoples home, held our Christmas Dinner here for the second year. Excellent and prompt service, fantastic food and great surroundings. Well done to everyone.
Excellent place that managed to seat 12 of us for a meal even though they were busy. Great fresh cooked food at very good prices. We had a great evening and will definitely visit again when we are in the area.
