Warmly-welcoming hosts who do all they can to make you feel at home, from Kevin's yummy breakfasts (my gluten-free diet was no problem) to the spacious, comfy and spotless rooms, with lovely country views. I highly recommend staying here!
A lovely friendly B & B with great breakfasts and comfortable rooms
Needed somewhere to stay for our visit to East Somerset Railway. This Bed and Breakfast was perfect. From the welcome tea and cake on arrival to our breakfast on departure day, everything was excellent. So much choice for breakfast each day and a yummy evening meal. Our hosts were so friendly and took time to chat with us. So much information available. One of the best Bed and Breakfasts ever. Thanks for all you did for us. PS Gills flapjacks were delicious. Gill and Kevin are very friendly hosts who gave us a very warm welcome.Their breakfast is fantastic, which is why they received a four star rating by a renowned british institution - among others.The house itself has quite some character the rooms are comfortable enough if you dont expect 5 star hotel standards (which you probably won't).The surrounding area is beautiful, there are so many decent locations and lovely landscapes to discover and explore.I can definitely recommend a stay there!
This is my seventh visit to Middleton House,as always a most comfortable and enjoyable stay. The en-suite room was spotlessly clean,very well equipped and warm. Well cooked and tasteful meals, an ideal location for the town and the showground.Nothing is too much trouble, i highly recommend Middleton House you will not be disappointed.
