Having checked their website last night we walked 4 miles for lunch today to find it is shut until further notice. Updating the website would have been useful.
A good selection of beers, and very generous portions of food. I had a sausage baguette, which had a homemade sausage and was served with chips.
A fabulous and delicious Sunday lunch. Great service and very well looked after by the wonderful staff. Very swiftly served too. We will be back very soon!!
The food was delicious, all the staff were friendly and eager to help. They didn't loiter in the background but were always available The portions were generous, but not overwhelming.I have already recommended coming to a friend and have plans to come back!
Came across The Strode Arms by chance. Best decision to stop and have a meal ever made. Friendly staff, very helpful. Superb food. Will defiantly arrange a return visit or two.
