Good food, good beer, warm bars. Definitely worth a visit!!
Nice local village pub.Called in for a drink with my partner, but only had the one as a group of youths and girls at the bar were using profane language. Pity really as the pub was very good.
Tried to get breakfast about 0930 on a Sunday morning and was turned away because the pub was too busy (5 people) and they had to prepare for lunch.I asked if they could do just toast and coffee and was rudely addressed by the bar lady. Apparently you cant just walk in and expect breakfast; "Sunday our busiest day".
This is a hidden gem, only wish we found it earlier. It was our last Sunday on our Holiday the weather was awful and we wanted a nice friendly place for lunch. The Manor House Inn did not disappoint on food or service. The staff couldn't be any more obliging, they were fully booked but made a table up for us in the function room. Everything was 1st class best Sunday Lunch we have had out in such along time.We have left recommendation in the guest book at our caravan site.
Stayed for one night in the junior suite accommodation was spacious and comfortable we recommended an upgrade on the sprung matress. The room was mostly clean (blind In bathroom dirty) food was delicious we had pudding in the evening and breakfast. The room was quite after about 10 when the pub noise settled.We would stay again
