Horrible Automated helpline , inept staff and simply unable to remember to call back as promised.what exactly are we paying for ?
Never have I know an organisation with such a capacity for utter incompetence as Mendip District Council.

Mendip Council won't sweep our streets, or sustain a proper public loo service, because of "cuts", yet if you walk near their offices, you shall see a whole new huge addition being constructed, presumably from council tax payers' "voluntary contributions"As for their planning dept, the least said about that, the better. I shall say though, that there seems to be some extraordinary decisions taken to allow Solar farms, individual houses, and Legoland estates to be built, where it's most inappropriate, and totally against the wishes of the local community.
Can't wait to go caving.
