Very expensive for the most part, but nice for browsing. 500 upwards Mulberry bags, high end cycling clothes, a couple of cafe's. I must say the cheese scones looked beautiful in the caf but they were quite dense and heavy.
Nice centre on the fringe of Shepton Mallet . Some of the shops do some really unusual producs . Good eating facilities with car parking on sight .
Primarily went to see the gardens which were tremendous, despite their small footprint. In addition the cafe was warm, quirky & the staff ensured a pleasant visit. The designer "village" showcased high quality products & was well worth a look see even though we didn't buy anything.
Shops are good staff friendly the main restaurant is currently closed and the cafe produced the most tasteless food I have ever experienced. A Thai spelt salad was cold wet with no discernable flavour a ham an cheese sandwich served with salad no dressing and the bread let's politely say was tasteless poor structure and probably stale over 20 for two awful lunches and 3 coffees not a great experience
The Mulberry factory shop has a wide range of bags etc. These are discounted but still expensive. There are clothes shops within the village but seem to be the dregs of the designer stock. There is a nice gift shop and cafe.
